For this project I had to create a hard selling leaflet for BMtools . The leaflet had to be full of products and information about them. So I came up with a simple concept. I tried to create a newspaper feel on the front page to make it a little more interesting. I also tried to keep the layout as clean and as ergonomic as possible. This way the viewer can have assess to all the information with ease and comfort.

On this project I had to create a logo and a business card for Fotis Kalovedouris. Fotis makes wooden stairs. I took advantage of the letter "Φ". Φ is the letter that represents the golden ratio and it is also the first letter on Fotis's name. So I created a spiral close to a "Φ" only with stairs.

Once I created the logo for "Δελφική Γη", it was time to create the packaging. I created a label with a vector illustration of people collecting olives with the traditional method. This was also a nice excuse to practise my 3D skills so I can make a better presentation of my work.

This is a work that didn't go on air after all but it was a pretty interesting project for me.

I had to create an illustration as a front cover of the annual notebook of Diadrasi.

Diadrasi is a private school that prepares students for the exams, in order for them to achieve their entrance in the universities.

Every year Art street 52 and Greek Woodturners team gather together and make spinning tops. The tops are then donated to a non profit organisation for a good cause. To celebrate the event they organise a top battle on which winners get small gifts as memorials of the event. 

I designed vector characters that are both fighters and spinning tops. It's a viking, a wrestler and a ninja character. It is always a lot of fun for me to design for such events.

Creating a small book as a personalized wedding gift

This was a really interesting project. My friend Ioanna came up with a very interesting concept for a wedding gift. The friends and relatives of the couple wrote small stories about the groom and bride. All the stories are connected through a word or phrase that the previous writer passes to the next.

So we collected all those stories and created a small book. The book is the actual present and it is the outcome of the collaborative work of all the friends and relatives.

We enriched the layout with colorful illustrations inspired by the stories.

The illustrations are first roughly hand sketched on paper. After scanning, each illustration is redesigned with the pen tablet in vector form. Photographs were also used as references.

It came out really sweet, I hope you like it!

Creative two color baby on board vinyl sticker

This is a creative way to inform other drivers that you carry a baby on your car.

It is actually a two color vinyl sticker. The base color is fluo yellow and the top vinyl is black.

Especially the fluo gives the sticker great visibility from a long distance.

Poster design for the 5th exhibition of Xilo Psifida team

Xilo psifida is an artistic team located in Keratsini (Greece - Attiki). The team is producing wood carvings and mosaics. You can view their work here.

Every year the team creates an exhibition to present the works of the year to the public.

This is a poster for their 5th annual exhibition that begins Saturday, June 25 2016.

For that poster, I created a visual that combines wood carving with mosaic art. I used the mallet and the gouge to represent woodworking and a geometrical motif with mosaic texture.

Rory Gallagher illustration

The legendary Irish guitarist has inspired me so much with his art and blues. This illustration is my tribute to his music. Rory loved to perform so I wanted this illustration to try to catch the  "live moment". I hope I achieved my goal! Rory will alway be with us through his musical craftsmanship.

These are my entries for International Reggae Poster Contest (IRPC) 2014.

IRPC is an international Poster Contest supporting reggae music.

My first entry is a Portrait of famous roots reggae legendary musician Burning Spear. The portrait is made in a rough manner in order to give the impression of the beauty and roughness of mother nature.

The second entry features a reggae bassist illustration. After all the rhythm and groove are really important in music and especially reggae. It is a minimalistic vector illustration. I consider reggae music beautiful and simple and I've tried to express that with  my design.

Scrap wood city's business cards

Those are the business cards for scrap wood city. They were silk printed using a unique technique by Tind. The graphic designer gives the design to the printer in black and white. The printer then prints it on any paper he likes, with any ink he likes and any technique he likes. The outcome is this unique and beautiful random effect.

This is an example of how the designer and the printer can co create. It was awesome!

I was called to illustrate a 3D visual for Attica bank's campaign. The creative idea behind this ad is that Attica gives you the best perspective on your interest rates. The visual is a 3 dimensional rate that needed to be rendered on a certain angle of the camera in order to dramatize it's perspective. 

Django Reinhardt illustration

This an illustration of the legendary gypsy jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt. It is inspired by Django's unique style in creating music. Django's music is both classic and modern at the same time and this is something I've tried to express through this illustration. I hope I have succeeded.

Sonny Rollins illustration

An illustration dedicated to the saxophone colossus and legendary jazz master Sonny Rollins. Sometimes in jazz the musician tries to capture the basic forms of chords and melodies in order to interpret a tune in his own way. I tried something similar in this illustration. By keeping the basic forms I tried to interpret an image in my own way. As a result I've created this abstract illustration of Sonny. I hope I didn't lose the feel in the end!

In this case, we designed from scratch the Douwe Egberts spot in a super market. The construction included a "bar" area, a "take your picture" area and a "gaming area"! it was really impressive to see something like that while shopping in a supermarket.

The actual event looked like that:
